🎬 Movies as Frequency Medicine: Celebrating the Seasons Through Story & Play✨️

Every season carries a vibration — a frequency of feeling, rhythm, and renewal. For me, one of the sweetest ways to honor that flow is through story. As an empath and energy worker, I’ve learned that movies aren’t just entertainment — they’re portals: They shift our vibration, open our imagination, and tune us into the heart of what’s moving through the collective. When chosen with intention, they become little frequency attunements — laughter medicine, nostalgia therapy, and storytelling spells that help me celebrate the sacred rhythm of time. I call this my Movie Wheel of the Year — a cinematic ritual of joy, comfort, and cosmic play. While some folks dive into horror (more power to them!), I prefer to keep it light, funny, and heart-forward. G-rated, sci-fi, fantasy, and absurd comedy are my go-tos — they lift me up instead of draining me. 🍿 So grab some popcorn, your favorite fuzzy blanket, and maybe a journal for a few intuitive reflections along the way. Here’s how I celebrate the turning of the year — one movie, memory, and laugh at a time.—

🌟 January – New Year, New Magic

We begin the year in cosmic mode: The Secret sets the tone with manifestation and magnetism, and Interstellar opens the portal to awe, reminding me that love truly transcends time and space. Then I cozy up with The Princess Bride — because true love, laughter, and adventure are the ultimate frequency reset for a fresh start.—

💕 February – Loops, Lessons & Love

February holds the frequencies of love, humor, and reflection.Groundhog Day reminds me that we always get another chance to choose joy and grow.Northern Exposure — that quirky, soulful series about small-town life, eccentric neighbors, and cosmic coincidences — warms the heart with gentle humor and humanity. And of course, Outlander, my favorite “sexy, time-traveling love story,” weaves together passion, fate, and the kind of soul connection that feels written in the stars.—I have to add my top love story of all time is…. The Notebook: My Must see Valentina Feb 14th mood movie masterpiece!

🌱 March – Hope Blooms As the world softens and reawakens, 🌷my March lineup brings wonder and rebirth: The Easter Bunny Is Coming to Town, It’s the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown, The Lorax, and The NeverEnding Story — the ultimate imagination activation. 🦄✨This month is about believing again — in ourselves, in magic, and in the power of stories that never truly end.—💛

🌸 April – Sacred Renewal …. I love Faith Films- The Chosen, Joseph and The Technicolor Dream Coat, Moses, Mary Magdalene… they anchor April — and Easter-with films of grace, truth, and divine power that invite reflection and reverence.-

🔮 And my other favorite for April Showers is the movie LaLa Land! Where romance meets whimsy and manifestation meets magic!

🌞 May – Mind Expansion 💫The Matrix , The Dark Crystal and Star Wars CANNON (May the 4th!!) remind us that awakening the mind and remembering the light within are both journeys of courage and curiosity.—💫

🌈 June – Galactic Giggles 🌝 Men in Black Cannon bring the cosmic comedy — proof that even in the vastness of the universe, laughter is our best defense mechanism. 👽 And, Will Smith has had my heart since he was The Prince of Bel Air. ❤️

⚾ July – Joy in Motion, Major League and A Leauge of their Own, are pure summer nostalgia — teamwork, humor, and a dash of ridiculous fun.

🌀 August – Imagination Unleashed 🔥It’s a double feature of wonder and wit: The Labyrinth and The Jerk. Both keep me playful, reminding me that life’s weirdness is part of its beauty.—

🍂 September – Magic School Time🍁 Back to magic school! Harry Potter and Twilight kick off the season of transformation, mystery, and cozy candlelight. And, Mickey’s Not-So-Spooky Halloween keeps it lighthearted and sweet.— 🪄

🎃✨ Halloween Movie Magic: Choose Light, Not Fear ✨🎃

This time of year, the veil is thin… the ancestors whisper, and the spirit world feels close.
While so many are binging horror and thrillers “for fun,” my guides reminded me —
🌀 What we watch, we welcome. 🌀
Energy follows attention, and what we choose for “entertainment” becomes part of what we manifest.

So instead of fear and fright, try stories that awaken your soul!!!

🎃 October – My Favorite Kind of Fright October is my empath-friendly spooky season — full of giggles and ghosts, not gore.

👻I rotate through

🎃Young Frankenstein

🎃The Halloween Tree (book & movie)

The other day I literallyhad to turn my ba k and shield my energy from a very new & prying witch who did not know her place in my field! Yuk )

Now come my early Christmas flicks — The Grinch (both versions), Klaus, Jingle Jangle, A Christmas Prince, Ernest Saves Christmas, The Man Who Invented Christmas, Meet Me in St. Louis, Mixed Nuts, and yes, even Gremlins. (But not Love Actually — that one never resonated with me, sorry-not-sorry! 😂)

Epilogue: The Frequency of Story

Movies, like energy work, are invitations to shift — to feel, to remember, to laugh, and to expand. Each story holds a vibration. Each season brings its own medicine.Through these films, I don’t just mark the passing of time — I celebrate it.They remind me that play, presence, and imagination are sacred frequencies, too. So here’s to celebrating life through story —To laughing through the lessons, loving the light, and letting the movies remind us that magic is always on the reel. 🎥💖

✨ P.S. – About This Series – Movie Rituals for the Empathic Soul is a seasonal series where I share how storytelling, laughter, and lighthearted films can serve as vibrational medicine through the year. Movies hold frequencies — of joy, nostalgia, imagination, and heart. When we watch intentionally, we tune our energy, uplift our vibration, and celebrate life’s magic in motion. 🎬
