on August 1 – we enter Lughnasadh, the ancient Gaelic First Harvest festival.
Halfway between the Summer Solstice and the Autumn Equinox, this sacred midpoint invites us to pause and witness what is ripening in our lives.
The seeds planted in spring are beginning to show themselves.
Not everything is ready — but something is.
This is the harvest of courage.
The harvest of intention.
The harvest of who you are becoming.
Lughnasadh is named for Lugh, the Celtic sun god of skill, mastery, and creative brilliance. His fire is not chaotic — it is refined. It is the fire of showing up fully.
And as we step into August, another portal begins to build:
The Lion’s Gate (8/8) — a powerful energetic alignment when the Sun is in Leo and the star Sirius rises, activating themes of heart expansion, courage, visibility, and divine identity.
If Lughnasadh is the first harvest…
Lion’s Gate is the amplification.
Lughnasadh says:
“Look what is growing.”
8/8 says:
“Now claim it.”
This is Solar Plexus energy (personal power, sacred confidence) meeting Heart Chakra expansion (gratitude, love, leadership through light).
You may feel:
• A push to step forward
• A nudge to be seen
• Emotional integration
• A desire to simplify and focus
• A deep review of what’s actually working
We are in a threshold moment.
August 1–8 is a bridge:
Harvest what is real.
Release what isn’t.
Strengthen your center.
Prepare to roar from the heart.
You do not need to rush.
You do not need to force.
You simply witness what has grown — and decide what you are ready to embody next.
The first fruits are here.
And the Lion is waking. 🦁🔥
