Full Moon June 29th – Strawberry Moon!

🍓 The Strawberry Moon: Harvest and Gratitude

Many Indigenous peoples, particularly Algonquin tribes, named June’s Full Moon the Strawberry Moon because it marked the short season when wild strawberries ripened. Strawberries represented abundance, nourishment, and gratitude for what the Earth had provided. Near the summer solstice I love honoring the season by going strawberry picking with my family – I did this a child and it is a comfort to me to do this with my family as well.

Spiritually, this moon reminds us:

  • Celebrate what has already blossomed.
  • Honor how far you’ve come.
  • Understand that growth happens in seasons.
  • Trust that what is deeply rooted will continue to bear fruit.

Not every harvest comes easily. Sometimes we recognize blessings while simultaneously acknowledging hardship. I hope you have ready Braiding Sweet Grass – its a lovely book and makes this tradition mean even more to me….

🩹 Chiron Entering Taurus: Healing the Wound of Safety

Beginning June 19, 2026, Chiron offers a preview of a much longer journey that unfolds fully from 2027–2034.

Taurus governs:

  • Money and resources
  • Home and security
  • The body and physical well-being
  • Self-worth and value
  • Stability and trust

As the “Wounded Healer,” Chiron often exposes the places we have tried to avoid.

For many people, this transit may bring questions such as:

  • Am I safe?
  • Will there be enough?
  • Can I trust life to support me?
  • Is my worth dependent upon productivity or income?
  • Can I love and care for my body exactly as it is today?

When old fears around debt, bills, career uncertainty, home, or finances arise, they are not necessarily signs that something is wrong. Sometimes healing begins by bringing hidden fears into the light.

🌿 Body Wisdom

Taurus is deeply connected to the body.

This may be a season of:

  • Body image wounds surfacing.
  • Exhaustion reminding you to slow down.
  • Learning to nourish rather than punish yourself.
  • Rebuilding trust with your physical vessel.

The body often asks:

“Can you create safety inside yourself, even while life feels uncertain?”

🌕 Full Moon in Capricorn — June 29, 2026

The Capricorn Full Moon highlights the balance between:

Cancer
(Home • Family • Emotional Security)

and

Capricorn
(Career • Responsibility • Achievement)

This polarity asks:

  • Am I carrying too much?
  • What responsibilities truly belong to me?
  • Have I been sacrificing my emotional well-being for productivity?
  • What does success mean now?

Capricorn reminds us that long-term dreams require commitment, but Cancer reminds us that success means little if we do not feel nourished and supported.

The Thread Connecting All Three

Strawberry Moon: What has already grown?

Chiron in Taurus: What still needs healing around safety and worth?

Capricorn Full Moon: What structures support the life I truly want?

Perhaps the medicine of this season is not pushing harder.

Perhaps it is remembering:

I do not have to earn my worth.

I am allowed to build slowly.

I am creating foundations that will sustain me for years to come.

I am learning what true safety feels like.

I honor both my responsibilities and my need for rest.

Like the strawberry plant, I trust that growth happens in its own sacred timing.

This feels less like a season of instant manifestation and more like a season of rebuilding trust—with your body, your finances, your home, and yourself. Sometimes the deepest healing begins with a simple question:

“What would help me feel safe today?”
