Sometimes healing can look like illnesses…. Have you ever heard of a healing crisis?
A healing crisis is an event that seems like an illness by all outward appearances. But is something triggered by an act of health? An act of health is any action that you take, which is naturally a nutritionally sound. Some examples of health that might trigger a healing crisis or something like fasting. Eating only fresh Whole Foods. Getting caffeine or coffee out of your diet? Cutting cigarettes detoxing from marijuana or chemically treated foods for a few days. Parasite cleanse detox cleanse meeting and exceptionally high spiritual person like A. Monk or a coach feeling someone’s unconditional love or getting a massage. Making and a piece of art that was really poignant for you. Going to a beautiful natural space in the in the nature. And spending some time there getting some space and time alone. When you haven’t had any in a long time. What you must understand is that no matter how uncomfortable a healing crisis is the disease that would occur if you do not allow the healing to take place is twice as distressing. If you sense your body to have stored toxins from past abuses, go easy on yourself. Take steps slowly and gently to improve your health. Begin listening and paying attention to what you’re about.
Facebook has decided to post non stop ads on my page about weight loss and peri-menipause…. so I guess the algorithm has duagnosed me. Fuck that-when there is SO much more to move through. as if it was only that. that ONE. thing. what a wild and wonky ride but its more๐ตโ๐ซ. My mentor once said menopause is when women becpme holders of the grail. But the world wants us to feel suck useless and other. My moods are all over the place. JUST when I think I have some semblance of ease, oh, now here’s some adolescent rage, with a side of intense power cleaning. and then I want to collapse on the floor and ugly cry…. for no specific reason. and just ICK- every one & every thing. and, yet…. we are in the highest evolutionary leap of humanity between 2912 and 2032. We are in the THICK of it. Old crumbles and New Creates chaos as it heals. I have some really strong opinions, that my soul is just DYING to share, and yet when I look in the mirror and wonderwho the fuck AM i ? ๐ง or Rather….who Am I becoming?
When things are going well it’s easy to be in high vibe and send out the right frequencies to attract dreams.
BUT when you are battling with guilt? Regret, or shame?
When the fear of failure is burying us deep into the muddy ground?
These times are so intense, politics, wars, chaos… then we look at astrology and solar flares and Schuman resonance …. we all want to just hide, run or scream – showing up with a fake smile is ๐กโ๐ ๐๐๐ ๐ก ๐กโ๐๐๐ ๐๐ข๐ ๐๐๐๐ฃ๐๐ข๐ ๐ ๐ฆ๐ ๐ก๐๐ is thinking aboutโฆ
Shifting your frequency into Lala land is just not possible then. My illness this winter was a big awakening. I realized that my immune system shot because my nwervous system was so stressed out -between house fires and being homeless in 2021 and the stress of my Mom passing in 2024- and just a stressful job in the bank, and life of Mom and adulting – my body was in a chaos state of fight or flight all the time. I was not able to bounce back from a simple illness. When I got sick I went down hard. So, I started doing a lot of research on the vagus nerve.
We cant really do the work we are here to do if we are in constant state of fight or flight. Emotional dysregulation isnt peri-menopause but its magnifying our natural state of chaos – if we cant see it ourselves. Somatic Alignment is what’s been the game changer. One of the last things we think of doing in our emotional state is ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐, ๐๐๐ ๐ญ๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ณ. Yet, our feelings just want to be heard and seen, they are not there to make us miserable. My mentor told me in a coaching session to Thank my feelings for being there, and ๐๐ ๐ ๐กโ๐๐ ๐คโ๐๐ก ๐กโ๐๐ฆ need. What we do tend to do is ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ self ฬถjฬถuฬถdฬถgฬถeฬถmฬถeฬถnฬถtฬถ. A LOT of it. So instead I started saying to my anger- what boundary was crossed? What is my body trying to tell me? Illness too! I highly suggest that you check out Louise Hays- you can Heal your life. She is always spot on in her illness diagnosis / root emotional cause and her affirmations are so helpful. .. But compounding emotions, like feeling guilty for something, then shaming ourselves for feeling guilty just makes illness worse. If Nobody else is judging us, why do we?
When you feel chaos. #1 MOVE your body. Literally get I to a different shape wiggle. Swing. Jump. Stomp. And…#2 BREATHE! #3 ๐๐ฌ๐ค ๐๐๐ ๐๐ฎ๐๐ฌ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: ๐๐จ ๐ฉ๐๐๐จ feeling ๐ก๐ค๐ซ๐๐ฃ๐ ๐ฉ๐ค ๐ข๐? โค๏ธ
(this thought pattern, this complaining, this judgement, this self-sabotage)
Then,
๐๐๐ข๐ข๐ฆ๐- ask yourself what what is it you need – how do you WANT to feel, and take any tiny action as a first step that brings you that feeling.
Then – Shifting our state into Alignment is the key to shifting out of fight, flight, chaos and into rest & digest. The Vagus nerve is an ancient part of us that always us to rest, relax and digest our food. Or move into fight or flight, if we are not calm if effects our entire body and the longer we are in a state of stress the harder it is to come back to it. Which is why – an act of healing can trigger a healing crisis. Or why when we finally have vacation we get sick- our body needs to rest and heal and often the ONLY time we listen is if we are sick.
